The picture is combination of two pieces put together: Mingsha Dunes in Dunhuang and the steep Yuanzui Mountain in Taiwan. Wen-Rou and her partner walked in Mingsha Dunes and Yuanzui Mountain, respectively, in the pandemic period. This painting is the mutual memory with her partner, recording the helplessness in long periods of separation and drawing her attention to the poetry of nature.
